Yay for Friday

I don’t know about you but this week has dragged on.  On Tuesday I thought it was Thursday.  This post has no rhyme or reason to it.  Just some things that have gone on since last Friday!

1- Hiking last weekend.  The weather was beautiful here in South Texas.  Of course, now it is 36 degrees (I know, still warmer than a lot of places!).  But we took advantage of the beautiful weather last weekend and went hiking.  We took Josiah’s cousin Hallie and we all had a great time!  Plus we found the best pizza place.  If you are ever out in Leakey Texas, go to Vinny’s! He used to have an Italian restaurant and closed it down, traveled for a year and then opened up a smaller operation as a pizza place.  He is 85 years old (!!) and we thought he was mid-60’s!

2- The baby cows were born!  Gig’Em had her baby on Sunday and Aggie had hers on Wednesday.  They are adorable and are, of course, their mother’s shadows.

3- I had a root canal re-do. Sorry for the stock photo, I just like having photos for my randomness.  But on Wednesday I had a redo and let me say, I am still in the most pain ever.  Really not enjoying this and praying that this pain goes away.

4- March!  How on earth is it already almost March? Does it seem like this year has just flown by? We change the clocks forward next weekend!  Which means we loose an hour. Eh!

5- Going to visit grandparents.  I am pretty excited that we booked tickets for a weekend next month to go visit Mimi & Papa.  It is a very short trip (Friday night-Sunday) but we get to see family before the wedding and that makes me pretty happy!  Since who knows how much time we will get to spend together at the wedding!
