Yay for Fridays

Today is Friday!  Although, yesterday felt like Friday, so I guess it doesn’t really matter!  We are still enjoying Tennessee, Josiah flew in to get his wisdom teeth out, so I guess I am probably enjoying it just a little bit more than he is!

1- Franklin.  There is something special about your home town.  I love coming back and exploring.

Dinner with Dad & Cathleen- We went to Urban Grub in Nashville.  I had not been there since it opened and had some fabulous mac & cheese.  I didn’t branch out far but it was delicious.

#ibelieveinnashville- This sign is all over instagram and last time I was here I didn’t get a photo in front of it.  So I made Dad & Cathleen pull over so we could get a photo.  Dad wasn’t as keen but Cathleen was!

Mexican with these kids- I have watched them all grow up and I love getting to go to my favorite Mexican place and spend time with all of them!

5- Wisdom Teeth- This guy got his wisdom teeth out yesterday.  The pain is kicking in more and I am praying he keeps doing well!  Speaking from experience teeth pain is not fun!

Yay for Fridays!

Yay! It is Friday!  These weeks have been so long as I work inside and it is so so nice outside! Plus we are getting things ready to move to the new house and I just cannot wait to be in there!

We have been working on the house this week.  There was some warped floorboards that Josiah had to fix.

Due to Tropical Storm Bill we have been having big rain storms in Texas this week and I have been able to see multiple rainbows.  I love them.

We made Italian Egg Biscuits that my mom always made when I was little.  I love these cookies.

Yay for Friday!

Yay!  Happy Friday!  I am not sure when I am going to get this posted as I have an early morning flight to Tennessee (YAY!), but it will be posted eventually!

1- Wedding Take Over.  My house is not very big and is a MESS.  I am not complaining because it is awesome, but I like neatness!

2- Rain in Texas.  Again, it is awesome.  But I have to scrub and work really hard to get my car clean since I live on a ranch!

3- Tennessee!! I am going to Tennessee this weekend for a shower and bachelorette and I am so excited!! Plus Franklin is having their Main Street Festival and it is my favorite!

4- Pancake.  Prayers for Pancake.  She has been at the vet all week.  My old girl is needing some help.

Yay for Friday

Yay, it is the weekend!  In addition, it is Easter weekend!  Today is Good Friday, which is the day that Jesus died for all of us.  But, thankfully we can rejoice because He rose again and we wait in hope of the resurrection!  So while there are tears for a little while, there won’t be tears forever!

Pancake Sleep

1- Pancake makes me laugh.  She is getting old and it is definitely noticeable but she still makes me laugh.  I have absolutely no idea how this is even somewhat comfortable.  But I have caught her sleeping like this more & more!

2- Willow makes me laugh too.  This cat is incredible affectionate. She spends her nights curled up on me however close she can be.  I really need to put a stop to it because it can seriously mess with your sleep.  But she looks so cute!

Valero Open Golf Tournament

3- Valero Open.  Last weekend was a BEAUTIFUL weekend in South Texas.  We went to the Valero Open in San Antonio.  I had no idea I actually enjoy watching golf in person.  I don’t think I am a fan of watching it on tv, but I really enjoyed sitting at the 18th hole.  We even took a break and went to one of the awesome restaurants on the resort.

4- Dress Drama.  I’m trying to remain calm but the seamstress *may* have messed up my wedding dress.  There were special alterations that needed to happen and I get a call last night that she couldn’t do them and she hemmed from the bottom.  I didn’t like the original dress the way it was without a certain change and so now I am pretty worried.  She is bringing it to the store to talk to the saleslady who pinned it the way I wanted it and she has a photo.  I’m terrified.  Maybe, if it fits me (instead of being pinned), the original way will be fine.  I have no idea.  Not something I really want to deal with, lol.  I’m trying to remain calm as I have absolutely NO control over it.
