Favorite Fall Wreath

wreath square

Last week I went to Hobby Lobby.  I really had no intention of purchasing supplies to make a wreath and was making my way around the store (I apologize for this long drawn out pointless story but anyway…), when Josiah came in to find me.  He ended up doing this:

wreath in store

I had to take a photo of it in the store so we could recreate it after we paid for everything.  He ended up doing a really good job and even though it was all 40% off, this would have been much cheaper purchasing everything at the end of this season for next year!  Either way, I really love how the wreath turned out.  I was going to make another burlap wreath (I still plan on doing that but using it somewhere else :) but I love how this one looks. Even though it is South Texas, I am ready for some fall!

I love how it looks! And all it consisted of was purchasing the supplies and organizing them in the way that looks the best :)  Now if only I can add some more fall decor I will be good to go!  Stay tuned!

Easter Egg Wreaths

I know the egg wreath has been done before but I really wanted to make one for my office door.  I used a wire frame wreath form wrapped in fabric.

Not sure what I am going to do for next month!

Easy Valentine’s Day Wreath

Heart Valentine's Wreath

I made a Valentine’s Wreath for outside (check out the blog for it soon) but wanted to make one to hang on my craftroom/office door inside.  It took little to no time and looks quite cute.  I just took one of the styrofoam wreath bases and wrapped it in red satin ribbon.  I then cut hearts out of cardboard and glued different pieces of scrapbook paper on them and then glued them together.  Finish it with some burlap ribbon and hang on the door.  I really like how it looks and it brings some holiday color to other areas of the house.  Of course, now after Valentine’s Day I am going to have to come up with something else to hang there :)
