Handmade Features

I love, love, love what everyone has been working on! I need to better work my schedule so I can have more crafting time! I have been spending lots of time running but I need to spend more time crafting too! If only I could pass on sleep… hmm :)

Okay, I am truly in awe of this Neverland Birthday party from Homespun with Love. Absolutely unreal! They even had a Captain Hook’s Tattoo parlor! Very creative!


I absolutely love smores (who doesn’t?), so how adorable is this flower pot smore from Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons? I wish I had the supplies because I would totally make this right now (@ 11:30 at night!).


On my smores kick, check out these smore pancakes from Chef in Training! Two of my favorite things! I really think I am going to have to make these!

Updates & Handmade Features

So I am obviously totally behind on this! I completely apologize! I have had a ton going on (good stuff but just a lot going on!)…

I got a new job (not teaching but a job which is all I care about in this economy. It is a receptionist with lots of growth potential :), and I am also going to start selling Thirty One stuff at night (because I love it and it would give me some “fun” to my otherwise boring job :) and hopefully one of these days I can begin the numerous crafting projects I continue to place on the backburner…..


Check out these cupcakes from Running With Glitter, in a jar!! This is definitely on my to-do list (that just keeps getting longer & longer!!)


So here is something that has been on my to-do list for a while! I actually have the fabric cut and folded but not sewn :) It is from N’ Stitches Design and is about the envelope wallet system that is part of the Dave Ramsey Financial planning system. It is much prettier than using paper envelopes. :)

Handmade Features

Okay, so I am a little late this week on Handmade Features, I apologize!! I actually started a new job on Monday (yay for money!) and so my normal schedule has now been completely changed… but that is a good thing!!


I am LOVING this canvas from The Creative Imperative. What an amazing way to remind someone how loved and perfect they are in God’s image.


These are cake in flower pots! And the seeds? Sprinkles! Love this idea and really want to try it from Gardeners to Bergers.


Look at this amazing backpack from Sweet Diva! It makes me really want to try to make some more extensive sewing projects!

Handmade Features

I am amazed that I am actually posting Handmade Features on time! Crazyness!! It has been a crazy week so far, some good and some not so good (brakes going out in car? not so good!) but eventually all this bad has to turn good, right? :)


Check out this adorable pink little kitchen from Cheeky D in Heels! She made it from a nightstand!! Wow!


Um, would it be bad to say I really want to make one of these bears from Can did ly Kate myself? She even made a fabulous tutorial, so make sure to check it out!


How amazing is this camping cake? I wish I could make cakes like this!! I’d feel pretty amazing!!
