I was recently sent Unglued Devotional by Lysa Terkeurst to review. It is a 60 day devotional that is a companion to Lysa Terkeurst’s book Unglued. It is separated into 60 days with a different thought for each day. Each devotional is short and can be read in under 10 minutes making it the perfect devotional to keep in the car, or read at night. The thoughts each day are things that we all feel at one time or another. From God having a beautiful plan for me to the reason I can give grace is because I so desperately need it.
It is organized in topic (the chapter title), scripture, thought, her words and then prayer. I do wish there were more scripture references in the devotional and there may be in the book by the same name. I have not read that book but I may pick it up to read to see how it goes with the devotional. This book is an excellent companion to your daily quiet time.
I really appreciate how her thoughts are thoughts that every women has. The style of writing is easy to read and to understand, simple but it works so well.
