Happy Box

So I have totally been on a happiness kick recently and honestly I don’t know the reason (nor do I think I really care all that much :). I have not had a ton of time for crafting (trust me, it has been hard!) but I have managed small projects that don’t take a lot of time (or money). When I found this box in the Dollar Spot (it was $2.50) @ Target, I knew I could do something with it.

I love to scrapbook, keeping ticket stubs etc. and decided that making a Happy Box would be a brilliant idea. The box is not big, but it is big enough to keep some pictures and small special things. Then when I need a dose of happiness all I have to do is open it up and look through it.

As you can imagine it was super easy. I took my favorite robin’s egg blue spray paint and painted the box. I then sanded it to give it some pink coming through and then took my Silhouette (with our love/hate relationship) and put Happy on the box (with a ladybug of course). And it sits on my dresser, making me quite happy :)
