Yay for Friday

Can you believe it is already December 5th?  I really can’t.  December just flies by and it is a month I really wish would slow down!  I am almost done all of my Christmas shopping, which makes me so incredibly happy because it pretty much stresses me out.  But today’s (and maybe the next few yay for Friday is about Christmas.

1- Christmas decorations are finally up! As much as I didn’t want to do it I waited until after Thanksgiving and I am so glad that we can finally enjoy them!

I know the pictures are dark but I love, love, love all of the lights.  The house is pretty small so there isn’t a ton I can do without going overboard but I love how it turned out.  The wreath on the door is from LL Bean and I love having the real evergreen hanging on the door.

2- My Nativity Set from Willow Tree.  I cannot tell you how long I have wanted this.  It isn’t cheap and so I just have not purchased it.  Let me tell you how incredibly amazed I was when it arrived in the mail from my bestie (Thank you again Brianne!).

Isn’t it beautiful?  I had convinced my mom to buy it for her house a while ago and I just love it.  Brianne was so incredibly sweet.  She was worried that I was going to be mad that she sent it early.  Not even close!  She had it sent to Josiah’s office and he video taped me while I opened it.  I was an absolute dork but I love it so much!

3- Being [almost] done my Christmas shopping.  It stresses me out to have presents to buy and/or not know what I am going to buy someone.  I feel so much better knowing that I am almost done.  Just a few more to go!

4- Christmas scenes and pretty photos.  I love taking pictures but when it is Christmas time?  And there are pretty scenes all around?  And all the lights?  I love it even more.  This was at A Christmas Affair in Austin.

5- Christmas movies & specials on tv!  I just record a bunch of them and then watch them when I get a chance.  Christmas Specials, ABC Family Schedule, Hallmark Channel plus I am sure there are more I haven’t mentioned.
