I have always wanted (okay, maybe for about 6 months) wanter to try to use glitter and epoxy together. I wasn’t sure what would actually happen when I tried to glitter but I figured I could try a few things until I figured it out. I tried not gluing it down and also using a spray glue to glue it down, obviously the spray glue worked the best. I went outside (obviously and sprayed the entire surface of the tray (I found the tray at Goodwill and figured it would be an easy thing to epoxy). I then shook the glitter out and moved it around to cover the entire surface.
Here is the glittered tray without epoxy on it.
And here is the epoxied tray. It is hard to get a picture of epoxy on a tray but it was one coat of epoxy and it is super clear and super smooth.
I tried to take a picture so you could see the shine and the reflection of the epoxy. You can do so many crafts with epoxy. It gives you a nice flat surface and you can cover pictures, memorabilia, pennies, bottle caps etc. I will have another project soon with some more epoxy!
There are lots of types of epoxy but I used Best Bar Top Epoxyas they have great tutorial videos and instructions on their website.
