MudLOVE Bracelets

So have you heard of MudLOVE Pottery? I hadn’t until the other day. I actually do not remember how I stumbled upon the site but took forever choosing which ones I was going to order. For $5 you receive a handmade pottery bracelet and for every $5 you spend you provide someone in Africa clean water for ONE YEAR!

Not only are they absolutely adorable, I feel good knowing I am helping provide clean water to people who otherwise would not receive it. They were my ‘get better’ gift for myself.

On a surgery note, it has been getting worse. I am itching like crazy (from the codeine I think) and swallowing anything (liquids included) is not pleasant. I got some baby food from the store last night and at least that switches the diet up from popsicles and pudding. :) My sleep has been completely off and I normally wake up coughing or scared of choking but even with all of this I know I am still going to be happy I did this.

I will say I am having the animals to keep me company. Izzy (the cat) has been keeping me lots of company in addition to Pancake (not pictured) and Chloe (big dog).  Currently Pancake & I are watching Netflix.  I think I’ll have gone through every show by the time this is over!

Hope you are having a Happy Sunday!

This post is not sponsored and is entirely my opinion. I received the bracelets in the mail today and wanted to share them,

Wedding 101 Bridal Expo 8.22 Benefitting The Fairy Godmother Project in Franklin

I think I have mentioned Wedding 101 on my blog before but Wedding 101 is run by Ashley and Amy. I have been babysitting for Ashley since E (If you read my blog I know you’ve heard of her before!) was a baby. My baby is now 11!!

Anyway… Wedding 101 is a one-stop shop for brides (or anyone planning an event!) to learn about lots of different vendors, all in one place. Best of all it is FREE! If you come to their location in The Factory at Franklin you can learn about photographers, cake makers, stationary etc. all in one place. It is truly amazing and the facility is just b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l (230 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN 37064).

They are having a Bridal Expo on Sunday, August 22 from 1:00-5:00. The expo is $15 for individuals and $20 for couples and it is benefiting The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City. The Fairy Godmother Project helps teens who cannot afford a prom dress by setting them up with new or gently used dresses.

What’s even more fun is there is actually a place for your groom to go! It will be in the Blue Room @ Saffire Restaurant right @ The Factory. There will be cigars, tvs and auction items for the grooms. There will be auctions on wedding gowns for the brides and bidding begins on Thursday, August 18. You can actually come to Wedding 101 to try the wedding dresses on before the event.

And what is even better I’ll be there! So if you live anywhere close (Atlanta is considered close!) I want to see you!! You can purchase your tickets on the event page using Paypal or they will be available the day of the show.

And best yet I will be giving away TWO FREE TICKETS to the event! So look for that coming up soon within the next week!!
