Tennessee Recap

Last weekend I flew to Tennessee for a shower put on by Brianne and Kendra!  Brianne flew in from Arizona, Kendra already is there and I flew in from Texas with my friend Becca.  It was a long and tiring weekend starting with being up at 2am to get to the airport on Friday morning.  (early morning flight + hour drive + storms = leaving early!).  Then once we got to Tennessee I actually went into work.  We left early and headed to the airport to pick up Brianne and then Friday night I went to dinner with my dad.

 

Saturday morning Kendra and Brianne ran the Country Music 1/2 Marathon!  They both did really well!  Becca and I headed to my favorite yearly festival in Franklin, Main Street Festival.

 

 

I had to pick up some Kettle Corn!  I absolutely love it and fresh is the best!

 

 

Lots of people and food choices at the festival!  We then headed home for my shower.

 

 

Mom made a TON of food.  It was absolutely delicious.  I didn’t eat enough.

We had a painting party and they actually came to the house!  I choose an appropriate picture to paint, although it was somewhat difficult!

Then we headed to my favorite Mexican place for dinner.

Then Sunday morning Brianne, me and Becca all flew out super early!  Brianne had a 6 am flight and while we didn’t have to be there as early, Becca & I took advantage and went to Pancake Pantry.

I had no idea it opened at 6 am and there would be a small line.  It actually really started filling up as we were eating.  I got sweet potato pancakes and Becca got a large waffle.

It was a really fun weekend and I am so blessed to have so many people who care about and love Josiah & Me!
