So I have meant for a while to do a Favorite Outfit/What am I Wearing? Post. It has never happened (at least I don’t think it has!), but it has been one I wanted to do for a while. This was my outfit a few weeks ago and is an absolute favorite. Now, I can’t wear the white shoes since Labor Day has passed (do y’all follow that rule?) but I absolutely love this outfit! Pardon my face as I was looking directly into the sun and so it was hard to keep my eyes open :) The jeans & blouse are from Express (40% off on Labor Day weekend!) and the jacket is from the Neiman Marcus outlet. I absolutely love the coral color!

I found this adorable tank top that is from Francesca’s at the mall. It looks like it has never been worn and is absolutely adorable. I love this find!
4th of July Outfit- jean cutoffs and star tank
So in addition to painting my nails I wanted to have a cute 4th of July outfit that was comfortable enough to be in all day. I love what I ended up making. It was very cheap and looks adorable. The shorts are made from a pair of jeans I got at Goodwill for $3.50, the tank top was $3.97 at Walmart and then the fabric was .97 cents as I used a fat quarter for it. I apologize for the horrible pictures, I was trying to take them myself and you can only get so good of picture in the mirror.
Here is the front of my outfit. I distressed the shorts in the front and cuffed them up. For the tank I cut some rough stars out that I sewed on in a random pattern using a zig zag stitch.
I covered the pockets with the fabric as well. Biggest pain to get the rivet out so that I could cover the pockets but worth it
Here is a close up of the front of the shorts
and the back pockets
and the stars. As you can see I was rough with my stars and rough with the stitching, I didn’t want it to look like perfect little stars.
I loved how this outfit turned out and am so excited to wear it tomorrow!

I love my button ups. I feel like I have stepped up my wardrobe since I have been shopping at the Goodwill, haha. This is a Lands End button up, very nice!
So I love this sweater, it is a nice lightweight sweater that has puffy-ish sleeves and is just super comfortable! I had a picture of it on me, not the best one, haha, but here it goes. :)
