This is a super easy taco casserole recipe that actually doesn’t have any set amounts of ingredients. It was always a huge hit when my mom made it and it is unbelievably easy to make. Prep time takes under 15 minutes and then it cooks for an hour at 350 degrees.
Supplies:
- Beef. I used about 1lb for this recipe but you can use more or less depending upon size you are making.
- Shredded Mexican Cheese
- Sour Cream
- One Can Whole Kernel Corn
- One Can Chili Beans
- Tortilla Chips
- Chili Powder (to taste)
- Any other veggies you want to add (I added onions and green pepper)
Begin by browning the meat in a pan. Add your chili powder to the meat. Once it is brown add your corn and your chili beans. I drain the corn but keep the bean sauce. Mix them all together.
Then add any other veggies you want to add to your casserole. I like green peppers and onions but you can add whatever you want. Mix it all together and put it in an oven safe pan.
Then cover the beef and veggie mixture with sour cream followed by shredded cheese.
Now add your chips. This is then going to go in the oven for one hour at 350 degrees. Pull it out, let it cool and serve. Easy, easy taco casserole to make that everyone loves. What are you easy favorite recipes?
