So one of my oldest friends Courtney sent a tweet about an idea she had about synchro-blogging where we all blog about the same topic at the same time. Now technically the week is over and I will be late linking up but it has been a busy, busy week and better late than never. 
The idea behind the synchro-blogging is that there is a set topic and sometime during the week you write about it, just like a linky party.
So here is Pancake (you can also notice her in the header) and she is my little shadow. I rescued her from a horrible puppy mill situation a little over 2.5 yrs ago. When I adopted her she had spent her entire life (estimated at 5-7 but we really have no idea) in a cage. I brought her to the vet and spent a fortune for her having surgery. When I got her spayed it was discovered she had cancer inside her little body and tumors. The vet said if I had not rescued her and had surgery she would have been dead within a month. She also had to have most of her teeth pulled because she had never been taken care of.
Even though she didn’t have the best start to life she is truly a joy to have. She snuggles with you, loves to wiggle her butt in the air, loves to play with toys (it took 2-3 weeks for her to figure out what they were) and it took a year to teach her to trust and walk on a leash. Although, I have had to be really patient with her she makes everyone she meets really happy when they see how her little tail won’t stop wagging.
I mean, how adorable is she? Too cute right?
