Today I am thankful for freedom. I am thankful for all of the men and women in our military who have fought to preserve that freedom for me. Every 9/11 I can’t help but remember sitting in chemistry class, I can easily relive the entire day’s events out in my head as I am sure most of you can. It was such a time of uncertainty and fear. I still feel like that sometimes with everything going on in the Middle East and the violence all over the world. But just like Psalm 27:1 (and may others) say: The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid?
