Yay for Fridays!

Yay! It is Friday! These weeks have been so long as I work inside and it is so so nice outside! Plus we are getting things ready to move to the new house and I just cannot wait to be in there!

We have been working on the house this week. There was some warped floorboards that Josiah had to fix.

I think he did a pretty good job

My new washer & dryer! Is it ridiculous that I cannot wait to use them?

Due to Tropical Storm Bill we have been having big rain storms in Texas this week and I have been able to see multiple rainbows. I love them.

We made Italian Egg Biscuits that my mom always made when I was little. I love these cookies.

Yay for Friday!

So, I posted this last night and for some reason it didn’t schedule or publish. Makes me pretty confused! But, oh well! Happy Friday and Happy New Year!

1- We got engaged!! He planned an amazing proposal and surprise and I just got the photos back and cannot wait to share them! They turned out better than I could have imagined!

2- We are going to Colorado next week! I can’t wait. This photo is actually from March 2013, so we look a little different now but we are excited! I am not looking forward to the drive!

3- This ornament my mom got me. One of her friends painted it of Pancake and Willow. How adorable are they?

4- My KitchenAid! In addition to proposing Josiah got me the raspberry mixer, which I have wanted for oh so many years!

5- My brother’s reaction to this gift from my mom. He was so excited. He ended up being less excited once he discovered we all got them

Yay for [black] Friday!

Happy Black Friday everyone! I’d say it is pretty much a holiday! I have my list of things to purchase and have already taken advantage of the early Black Friday offers online. So for today’s Yay for Fridays post I am going to list the 5 places I want to make sure I go to tomorrow!

1- Target. I absolutely love Target. And while I am not hitting Target when it opens I am sure they will still have some great deals tomorrow that I can pick up. I saw the ad had $5 pjs and I love Target pjs.

2- Macys. I love their Christmas decorations and on Black Friday they are deeply discounted.

3- Bath & Body Works. Their three wick candles are my favorite. I got one a few years ago that actually didn’t really smell but since have gotten their fall and Christmas ones and love them!

4- Craft Stores. I normally hit Jo Ann’s & Hobby Lobby. They have good Christmas decorations as well.

5- Old Navy. Normally an absolute madhouse during Black Friday but I love seeing what good discounts they have for staple items.

I will also probably be hitting up Gap (50% off!), World Market, Loft (50% off) and whatever else I can find!

Yay for Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! I am late posting this but I have been a little preoccupied as I am sure y’all all have! I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas! I definitely did. Here is my random Yay for Friday/I love Fridays etc. posts :).

1- I’m engaged! My love proposed to me in the MOST AMAZING way on the 23rd and I will do an entire recap on here but it is absolutely insane what he pulled off! Full 9 yards with pamper day, photographers and a party afterward!

2- Christmas Eve. We always go to my sister’s Christmas Eve and Josiah’s family was able to come. He flew them in for Christmas so they could be there at the proposal.

3- Personalized ornaments. I love, love, love ornaments and my mom had one painted of Willow & Pancake. It is just too cute!

4- Watermelon slicer. This was hysterical when my brother opened this. He was so excited about it. Then he was a little upset when he found out my sister and I got them too. My mom finds unique gifts

5- Kitchen Aid Mixer. Not only did he give me the most amazing proposal he gave me the mixer I have been wanting for YEARS! I told him he didn’t need to give me anything, I was content But he still did. He is a keeper.
