I often forget that I am enough. I don’t have to pretend to be someone I am not. I don’t have to change who I am to please other people or get them to like me. I am enough just being who I am. And so are you.

So this has been on my to-do list even before I got an iPad. I knew exactly what I wanted and I really wasn’t able to find it. I wanted something that could fit easily in my purse but also be used stand alone with a strap. I finished it a few weeks ago but had not finished up the strap yet and so I waited to share it. But here it is…
Here is a front view. I added the ruffle because it was too plain. I hand sewed it on afterward but it works great. I used 3 different fabrics for it and the strap is removable.
Here is the inside. I made it roomy enough so my iPad can fit in with the pink silicon on it. The inside is houndstooth. I forgot to include a picture of the back but there is a zipper pocket for my stylus, pen or even money/credit cards if I was going somewhere with just my iPad. It definitely came out exactly how I wanted it to

So I wanted so share my favorite picture from the run (stamped of course because I have not purchased it, yet…
I will say I did play up to the cameras as they were wearing bright yellow vests and thus were easy to spot. I have never had any race photos come out this good (at least, I think it is good, haha). So I will be buying the digital copies There were some other good ones as well.
In addition, I ran the race with my neighbor across the street. She is from France and is moving back (sad!) so I made her a going away present. I actually want it myself.
I cannot wait to give it to her!
So what do you give your best friend to remind her of Nashville (and how much you want her to move back??)… a Nashville necklace.
I printed the map on my color printer and then laying the tile over the map to pick out which area I wanted to include. I made sure to include Nashville and all the surrounding towns. I then traced the tile, cut out the map and then glued it onto a glass tile with the special clear tile glue. I love how it turned out and actually had to give it to Bri before I actually took pictures of it
Thankfully, Brianne is the best and took pictures for me with her fabulous iphone
