Run.Run.Run

So I wanted so share my favorite picture from the run (stamped of course because I have not purchased it, yet…

I will say I did play up to the cameras as they were wearing bright yellow vests and thus were easy to spot. I have never had any race photos come out this good (at least, I think it is good, haha). So I will be buying the digital copies There were some other good ones as well.

In addition, I ran the race with my neighbor across the street. She is from France and is moving back (sad!) so I made her a going away present. I actually want it myself.

I cannot wait to give it to her!

Country Music 1/2 Marathon

On April 28th I will be running my second Half Marathon. Now to be completely honest the first one was really a run/walk as I was no where near prepared enough! I did well preparing all through the summer and then sometime in September I had a horrible case of hives for three weeks and really fell out of motivation and dedication.

That does not mean though that I need to do the same thing for this marathon. I am on my way to be prepared but it is so hard to get as many miles in as I need to do and recondition my body to be ready to run it as I have been seriously slacking as it has been cold outside (anyone else??). Now that it is getting warmer again though I am finding my stride again and just pray that I am prepared come that start line on April 28th! Anyone else have any big events coming up?

Ramblings

So it has been a really crazy, interesting, fun few months. I have been quite stressed because I have been a temp at work. It was supposed to turn into non-temp in October but due to them having issues beyond anyone’s control (& hr taking WAY too long), I am FINALLY starting full-time, non-temp work TOMORROW! I cannot tell you how excited I am that I am finally going to have BENEFITS(!!!!), vacation days, sick days, etc. It is amazing how much you take that for granted when you don’t have it.

I have also been playing on Foursquare WAY too much. I never got the point of it before but now I have decided it is really quite fun and has specials when you check in certain places. Definitely worth playing with.

And the best thing? It is getting WARMER! Today has been about 62 and I went on a lovely 4 mile run! There is not a cloud in the sky and it is just absolutely beautiful. I love days like this!

13.1 Car Decal

So I finally got to using my Silhouette to make my 13.1 car decal that I have been wanting to put on my car for ages. I could not wait until I finished that first half marathon so I could put the sticker on my car. Of course, today is November 24th and the marathon was November 12th but since I was home today I was able to print it out and put it on my car. I am pretty excited!

I am very excited that I am now part of the club
