So I posted a while back about my new favorite scarf. It was super easy to make and I wanted to make a few more. You can easily sew them in less than 15 minutes and I get compliments on them anytime I wear them! It is actually so easy that making this tutorial was pretty difficult as I couldn’t even think about what to write!
Supplies: 2 yards of jersey knit fabric, sewing machine etc.
Lay out your two yards of fabric so that the fabric is spread out longways. You are going to sew the sides together.
Sew the two sides together
Turn it right side out so your seam is on the inside of the scarf.
Now fold it in half and get ready to sew the two sides together. This is going to make a big circle.
Now turn this right side out so that the seam is on the inside of the scarf.
Wrap it twice around your neck and enjoy! It will be super soft with the jersey material but can be worn multiple seasons.
Here is my hot pink polka dot one. It also doubles as a dog sling.
Forgive the horrible picture! Charlie loves spending time with me and oddly will sit in my scarfs for long periods of time. It is almost like it is his own little sling. He’s a pretty funny puppy. Anyway, let me see what scarfs you come up with!
You make it look so easy! Love the stripes!
This looks super easy to make – will definitely have to try out with some of the jersey I have left over! Thanks for sharing!
